How did Leming, Texas get its name?

railroad,builder by the name of leming - frank e Leming,Texas was named for Merit E. Leming who was vice president and purchasing agent of the S.A.U., & G. Railroad. He established a townsite along the railroad and it was for him. - Bill L.
