As a young girl I would visit my grandmother (Callie Smith) we would walk to
town and go to Rub Sessions store, I loved looking around at all the pretty things,
back then children were not allowed to touch, then we would go to the post office,
walk to Mt Hope cemeteery and visit with our deceased family, usually we had a
piece of fruit or crackers to snack on ,on the walk home. Oh I loved visiting my
grandmother, this was in the early 50's I still try to visit Mt Hope at least once a year.
I live near Houston now.
