Knott, Texas History, Genealogy and Trivia

In my family's geneology book my grandfather wrote of his grandfather, "He also farmed in Big Spring and had a cattle ranch in Howard County, where the railroad built a siding in order that he could ship his cattle by rail. This siding was the beginning of the town of Knott, Texas, named, of course, after my grandfather." - S. Knott Carnaroli
